Bolt’s lawyers have said his balance at Jamaican investment firm Stocks and Securities Limited fell from just under $12.8 million to around $12,000. The company is under investigation for fraud. The alleged fraudulent activities are said to have started more than ten years ago.
The authorities have asked for the help of the US federal police FBI and other international experts in the investigation. According to the information, customers received false information about their account balance as part of the alleged fraud.
