The Swiss start-up hilky produces oat-based drinks in four different flavors: chocolate, vanilla, banana and coffee. With a young and fresh brand image, not only vegan consumers, but all milk lovers should be addressed. With this, hilky would like to expand the circle of potential consumers far beyond the vegan spectrum.
After a successful crowdfunding campaign in the summer of this year, the successful seed financing of CHF 600,000 has now been announced. According to CEO Philippe Guldin, the money will be invested in production and the market launch. “Our goal is to use the funding to get our products onto the chiller shelves in Swiss retail,” says Guldin.
True to our motto “plant-based – real taste”, the taste experience is at the heart of hilky products. So the goal is clear: “We want to launch the best plant-based drink on the market,” says Guldin. “It has always been important to us to work as sustainably as possible and with natural ingredients”. Today, hilky consists exclusively of natural ingredients and comes on the shelf in a 250ml to-go bottle made of 100% recycled PET.
