“Much to advance, to educate and to raise awareness”
Iker Casillas has become the protagonist of Sunday after a controversial message on social networks. The Real Madrid legend reported being the victim of a hack after a message in which he acknowledged his homosexuality went viral. Minutes after deleting it, the CSD intervened in the matter with a clear message.
“Much to do, to move forward, to educate and raise awareness. Will follow. #Happy Sunday”, the Higher Sports Council wrote on its official social media profile. The government body accompanied his message with a rainbow, a happy Sunday (as Iker Casillas did) and a photograph of his building with the flags of the LGTBI community.

“Wait they respect me: I’m gay”. This was the message with which Casillas revolutionized social networks on Sunday. After the stir caused, the former Real Madrid player explained with another message in which he apologized to the LGBT community.
Hacked account. Luckily everything in order. Apologies to all my followers. And of course, more apologies to the LGBT community. 🙏
