Saadet Party leader Karamollaoğlu is speaking at the press conference.
Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu is holding a press conference.
The highlights of Karamollaoğlu’s statements are as follows:
“First of all, it is with great sadness that I learned of the death of His Excellency Mahmut Efendi, one of the spiritual leaders of our country. I wish God’s mercy on him and my condolences to his relatives.
I would also like to talk about the earthquake that took place in Afghanistan yesterday, in which over a thousand people lost their lives. My condolences to those who lost their lives.
Of course, the danger of fire in our country worried us especially when the summer came. And unfortunately, the fire that started in Marmaris still could not be extinguished. Of course, the officials will try to extinguish it, but the important thing is to get results. I think different measures are needed. Of course, this is not an issue to be settled today. But I believe that more important measures should be taken in the future.
On July 15, our cadet students were arrested and sentenced to life imprisonment. Anyway, overnight, these children were released. As we said then, a student cannot make a plan. The student is obliged to act within the framework of the command given to him. It is not possible to sentence these children to life imprisonment like this and then leave them. The mind of the government comes to mind as the election approaches. These students did not need to go to bed for 6 years. But I consider it a positive step to rectify this mistake.”
