The last words of the Deputy Chairman of the CHP Youth Branch, who lost his life in the flood, were heartbreaking.

The funeral of CHP Mamak Youth Branch Deputy Chairman Ilkay Yiğit, who lost his life in the flood disaster in Ankara, was buried. While CHP leader Kılıçdaroğlu and ABB President Yavaş were also attending the funeral, it was learned that Yiğit’s last words were “Have your rights, I think I will not be able to escape”.

The funeral of CHP Mamak Youth Branch Deputy Chairman Ilkay Yiğit, who lost his life due to the flood that occurred after the heavy rain in the Tatlar District of Ankara’s Altındağ district, was buried today in Ankara. The funeral ceremony of Ilkay Yiğit was attended by CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş, as well as Yenimahalle Mayor Fethi Yaşar, his family, friends and fans.

Stating that he was friends with Ilkay Yiğit, who lost his life in the flood, İbrahim Balcakoğlu said, “I was very good friends with Ilkay. We had a conversation half an hour before he died in the flood. I would like to thank his family, mother and father who raised him. May he rest in heaven. We are sad, at a young age. “Because we lost him. He was a very valuable friend. I wish it had not happened, but unfortunately, death is an event that we will all experience. May God give patience to his family and loved ones. May he rest in heaven,” he said.
