Industrial Engineer, R&D Specialist Ziya Can Koçak and his team have shown that the syrup developed with ginger and walnut against coronavirus reduces the effects of the virus by delaying it for 31 hours. The syrup was approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and was examined by TUBITAK.
A syrup containing ginger and walnut active ingredients has been developed against the coronavirus, which has affected the whole world. It was stated that if the syrup, which was learned to delay and reduce the effects of the virus for 31 hours, is approved after being examined by the Ministry of Health, the product will switch from food supplement to medicine.
According to the news in Hürriyet, the syrup with ginger and walnut active ingredients, developed by Industrial Engineer, R&D Specialist Ziya Can Koçak and his team to supplement normal nutrition, was approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry in 2021. However, after R&D studies, it was seen that the syrup could be widely effective against all harmful bacteria and viruses. The syrup sample was delivered to TÜBİTAK MAM after research and negotiations.

“Our drug candidate, which passed the cytotoxicity tests successfully in 2020, was tested for the biggest epidemic of our age, COVID-19. The drug was found to delay and reduce the effect of the virus for 31 hours. The test results are extremely positive.
After the vaccine related to COVID-19 and its mutations, the most serious and effective single liquid drug invention that has achieved this worldwide success in the field of pharmaceuticals was also granted to us, the Turks. As soon as possible, the PHASE 1 rapid transition PHASE 3 studies (studies on humans) of our drugs will be started at the University Hospital within the body of Konya Selçuk University, especially in the areas of COVID-19 and all other infections, even cancer, with all its mutations.”
