40 billion dollars aid from the US Senate to Ukraine
The US Senate approved the aid package that President Joe Biden demanded for Ukraine at $33 billion and the House of Representatives increased it to $40 billion.
The Senate General Assembly voted on the aid package that Joe Biden presented to Congress on April 29 at $33 billion and was increased to $40 billion in the House of Representatives.
The package was accepted with a “yes” vote by 86 senators against a “no” vote by 11 senators. Three senators did not vote.
On May 10, the House of Representatives approved Biden’s $33 billion aid request, raising it to $40 billion.
US President Joe Biden’s approval is required for the package to become official.
