The ministry added that its air defenses shot down two Ukrainian Sukhoi Su-24 bombers and a helicopter over Serpent Island in the Black Sea.

And Saturday, the Russian Defense Ministry reported the destruction of a large amount of military equipment coming from the United States and European countries near the Bohodokhiv railway station in the Kharkiv region of Ukraine.
It added that it bombed 18 Ukrainian military facilities during the night, including weapons depots in Dachen, near the coastal city of Odessa.
This comes after US President Joe Biden announced new US aid to Ukraine, including artillery munitions and radar equipment, but warned that the funds allocated to supply Kyiv with weapons were running out, calling on Congress to allocate additional funds.
“I am announcing an additional package of security assistance that will provide Ukraine with more artillery munitions, radar and other equipment,” Biden said, while a senior US official indicated that the package is worth $150 million.
The official explained that the aid includes 25,000 155 mm artillery shells, anti-battery radar devices, to detect the locations of Russian artillery positions, and communications jammers.
