Nigerian Army announces the death of the leader of ISIS-West Africa “Bubba Danfulani”

The Nigerian army announced the killing of many ISIS fighters ISIS-West Africa Provinceincluding the leader of this branch of the organization, the leader of Boko Haram that ” pledged allegiance” to ISIS, Malam Buba Danfulani, with air strikes from an A-29 Super Tucano aircraft on the outskirts of Lake Chad in Borno State.

Danfulani was killed along with some of his aides in an air strike carried out in East Madai in the Kukawa Local Government Area in northeastern Nigeria’s Borno state, near Lake Chad, on Sunday, February 13, 2022, it is reported. The Independent newspaper.

Danvolani was the “emir” of ISIS-West Africa, responsible for all the elements who joined the terrorist organization recently.

He also coordinated terrorist activities ranging from the deployment of spies, to the collection of taxes and fees, and also acted as an intermediary between the leadership of ISIS-West Africa Province and the newly recruited members.

Counter-terrorism experts say Danfulani’s death has undoubtedly created a vacuum in the leadership of ISIS-West Africa, particularly in coordinating its financial activities.
